Design Process
At Down to Earth Designs, we cater to meet the individual needs and visions of each of our clients. Every design starts with an in-depth site analysis, in which we identify any constraints & micro-climates that may exist due to soil, wind, slope, sun and shade conditions existing on the property. We work hard to work with what nature presents us, rather than against it. This is done in order to create a unique solution and balance for each of our clients. The next step in our process is to meet with you (the homeowner) to discuss in greater detail, both your needs and what you want out of your landscape and space. With this information at hand, a complete design is drawn up and presented.

Cherry Creek CourtyardThis courtyard was lacking character and functional space for the homeowners and their dog. DTE produced a design for a new courtyard space the homeowners could enjoy on a daily basis. The tired concrete was replaced with a natural cut flagstone patio. A seating wall was constructed to add depth to the space and frame the patio while providing extra seating. The wall surrounds the gas fire pit which provides warmth on those cool fall nights.
